Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to our website, we recommend avoiding images with embedded location data (GPS EXIF). Visitors could download those images and extract any location data they contain.

Cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience on our website, in compliance with Peruvian regulations:

  • If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email and website in cookies so you don't have to enter them again. These cookies last 1 year.
  • If you have an account and log in, we use a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
  • When you log in, we save cookies with your login information and screen display options. Login cookies last 2 days, and screen options cookies last 1 year. If you select "Remember me," your session will last 2 weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
  • If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved with the edited article's ID. It contains no personal data and expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only in the following cases:

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the email sent to you.

How long we retain your data

Comments: Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to help us recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.

Reservations and registered user data: Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the contracted service or legal obligations (for example, accounting records required by SUNAT).

Cookies: Duration varies by cookie type (see the "Cookies" section).

Your rights over your data

Under Law No. 29733, you have the following rights over your personal data (ARCO rights):
